How it works

Skip the afternoon of review sites

Finding a contractor in Nashville normally means three hours of tabs, a dozen unanswered voicemails and no way to tell a real company from a rebranded one. This replaces all of it.

  1. 01

    Tell us about the project

One short form. Pick the category, say how many estimates you want, and add anything we should pass along.

  2. 02

    We match you to advertisers

You are matched with the companies that hold that category in your zone — the same ones printed in the issue that lands in your mailbox.

  3. 03

    They contact you directly

Up to three companies reach out to schedule. You compare, you choose, and there is no obligation to hire any of them.

Why start here

The list is short on purpose

Nashville Home Pros is not a directory. A directory takes everyone who pays. We print a limited number of companies per category per zone, which means we have to be right about them — an advertiser who disappoints homeowners costs us the reader relationship the whole magazine depends on.

That is the whole model. The magazine has to be worth opening, so the companies inside it have to be worth calling.

  • 01

    100% local

Every company in the magazine works in Middle Tennessee. No national call centres, no lead brokers reselling your details.

  • 02

    Vetted before they print

Advertisers are reviewed for licensing, insurance and customer reputation before they are accepted into an issue.

  • 03

    No-obligation bids

Estimates are free and carry no commitment. Take all three, take one, or take none.

  • 04

    Zero searching

One form instead of an afternoon of review sites, and the shortlist comes back to you.

From our desk

The magazine behind the network

Nashville Home Pros Magazine showcases the top home services companies in the greater Nashville area and gives you a single conduit to reach them.

It is mailed to more than 180,000 owner-occupied Nashville-area addresses, in a South / West and a North / East edition, 10 times a year. Every company inside has been reviewed before it was allowed to print. If it arrived in your mailbox this month, the digital edition is here too — same issue, same companies, readable on a phone.

Coverage

Two zones, one metro

Answers

Homeowner questions

What does Nashville Home Pros cost a homeowner?

Nothing. Requesting estimates is free and there is no obligation to hire anyone. The service is paid for by the contractors who advertise in the magazine, which is also why we are selective about who gets in.

How many contractors will contact me?

You choose — one, two, or three. Three is the default because comparing three written estimates is the single most reliable way to know whether a price is fair for the Nashville market.

How are the contractors vetted?

Before a company is accepted into an issue we review its licensing and insurance status, how long it has operated in Middle Tennessee, and its public review history. Advertisers who generate complaints do not get renewed.

Which areas do you cover?

The magazine is mailed to 180,000 owner-occupied homes across 9 Middle Tennessee counties in two editions. The South / West edition covers Franklin, Brentwood, Belle Meade and the Williamson County corridor; the North / East edition covers Hendersonville, Gallatin, Mt. Juliet, Lebanon, Murfreesboro and Smyrna.

Is Nashville Home Pros a lead-selling website?

No. Your request goes only to the advertisers holding your category in your zone. We do not resell contact details to lead brokers, and the same request is not auctioned to a dozen companies.

How quickly will someone get in touch?

Requests route to advertisers as they arrive, and most homeowners hear from the first company within one business day. If a category is unusually busy, Terry will call you personally to sort it out.

Do I have to hire one of the companies you send?

No. Estimates are free and carry no commitment. Take all three, take one, or take none — the point is to give you a real basis for comparison before you spend money.
