The North / East edition: Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet, Murfreesboro and the lake towns
Nineteen towns in Sumner, Wilson, Rutherford, Davidson, Robertson and Bedford counties — the larger of the two lists.
The North / East zone is Zone 2 on the magazine’s map, and it is the longer list: 70,000 homes in 19 towns, with a median property value of $695K and a median household income of $133K.
It runs in an arc around the east side of the city. In Sumner County it takes Hendersonville, Gallatin, Castalian Springs and White House, which crosses into Robertson; Goodlettsville sits where Davidson meets Sumner. In Wilson County it’s Mt. Juliet, Lebanon, Gladeville and Watertown.
Rutherford County is the biggest piece — Murfreesboro, Smyrna and LaVergne, then Christiana, Fosterville, Lascassas, Milton, Rockvale and Walter Hill, nine towns in all. Bell Buckle, just over the Bedford County line, is the southern edge of the zone.
The directory printed in the September 2026 North / East issue is the one this site lists on the trades page: 41 headings, with the companies under each. A heading with two names there may be full on this side of town; the same heading in the South / West edition has its own two spots. Companies based in Murfreesboro, Mt. Juliet or Hendersonville that don’t cross to Franklin can buy this edition alone.
